Cathedral City Entertainment CenterCathedral City Entertainment Center
HLKK's attorneys represented Palm Canyon Partners in the negotiation of a development agreement and related documents with the Cathedral City Redevelopment Agency for acquisition of vacant land and construction of a multiplex theater and parking structure complex in the heart of the City's new downtown area. HLKK's attorneys also assisted in negotiating the construction loan for the theater project and in obtaining options on several adjacent parcels designated for hotel and retail development.  The attorneys further presented Palm Canyon Partners and a joint venture partner while negotiating an Owner Participation Agreement to develop multi-family housing adjacent to the multiplex theater.

Beverly Hills' premier shopping destination recreates a village-like atmosphere complete with European charm. Some of the world's finest shops are located there including Tiffany, Cartier, Christian Dior and Versace. HLKK attorneys represented a consortium of Japanese banks in a $100 million refinancing of the original construction loan and in connection with a subsequent sale of the project.

Cascades Business ParkCascades Business Park
HLKK represented Sanwa Bank California in connection with land development and construction financing for several buildings in this San Fernando Valley office park. Included in this multi-year project were negotiations with Prudential Insurance Company of America which entered into negotiations to purchase several of the buildings upon completion and with other end users.

The ArboretumThe Arboretum
HLKK's attorneys represented the owner of this entitled 12-acre site in eastern Santa Monica in selling individual parcels, preparing comprehensive CC&Rs governing development of the site and negotiating with the City and individual owners as to individual responsibility for completing a variety of mitigation requirements contained in the development agreement.
