Hampton Inn & Suites

We represented hotel developer OTO Development in negotiating two development agreements for a pair of hotels -- one a Courtyard by Marriott and the other a Hampton Inn & Suites. These 6-story hotels designed by Gwynne Pugh Urban Studios are located in downtown Santa Monica across the street from the Exposition light rail station. We obtained certification of an EIR and adoption of corresponding Statements of Overriding Considerations for these hotels. As part of the entitlement process, we successfully addressed a local landmark designation application after one of the properties was nominated as a potential local landmark.
